Hello, my name is Zayna Akari. I am currently enrolled in Kennesaw State University's Early Childhood Education program. I am learning about instructional technology in iTEC 3100: Improving Learning with Technology.
My plan as a teacher is to keep my students engaged
with various forms of technology intergraded within my classroom. Student
engagement is one of the most important things that I believe that a teacher
will need in his/her classroom. Student engagement can allow a teacher to gauge
how the students are performing. Not only is student engagement important in
the classroom with implementing technology but also following Bloom’s Taxonomy
of Critical Thinking Skills are useful for the classroom. I plan on creating
lesson plans and activities that will revolve around Bloom’s Taxonomy, but also
using TPACK as a framework, as these critical thinking skills will be
beneficial for the students.
