A student response system or clickers are a combination of handheld hardware and software that permits each student in a classroom to answer a question simultaneously and permits the teacher to see and display a summary of results quickly. A few examples of possible student response and assessment tools are Quizlet, Nearpod and Pollseverywhere. Student response tools can be easily intergraded within a classroom as students are able to answer questions independently and even anonymously depending on how a teacher sets up their tool. These tools are great ways to have students review material or even students take assessment quizzes using the tools.
I hope to use student response tools within my classroom to keep my students engaged and interested in learning. I hope to use Quizlet as a study guide or a review tool in the classroom. I believe Quizlet would be quite useful for all the core subjects. If the school I am teaching at has enough iPads, I would love to create presentations on Nearpod so my students can see the presentation closer in front of them and even participate with their iPads.

Below, I have attached a sample Quizlet to be used in a lesson and also, I have attached a lesson template idea using second grade English Language Arts standard about compound words. This template uses the Quizlet tool.
